Thanksgiving will soon be upon us. Many of us will enjoy a turkey dinner with family and friends in celebration and the remembrance of blessings both big and small.Thanksgiving is the rarest of holidays: a celebration of appreciation. Scripture tells us to be "thankful in everything, in all circumstances"(1 Thessalonians 5:18).When we find ourselves overwhelmed with burdens and worried about tomorrow, we can praiseGod for who he is and his promise to never leave us or forsake us.We have been blessed with the free gift of salvation and eternal life! There are four biblical ways to express your gratitude to the Lord during the holiday season.Psalm 100 shares a song of praise to God as our Creator,Sustainer and Redeemer.Psalm 100 instructs us to praise and worship God.

1. Don't be afraid to shout praise to the Lord. The Bible says,"Make a joyful shout to the LORD"(Ps. 100:1).

2. Don't be afraid to serve the Lord with gladness."Serve the LORD with gladness"(Ps. 100:2 ).

3. Don't be afraid to come into the Lord's presence."Come before His presence with singing"(Ps. 100:2).

4. Don't be afraid to get to know the Lord. The rest ofPsalm 100:3 says,"Know that the LORD, He isGod; know that He is JehovahGod and we are not, that He is the Creator and we are His creatures and that we are His sheep and He is our Shepherd.

This holiday season, rememberto be thankful and count your blessings!Be reminded that eternal thanks belongs to the Lord!
