J.O.Y. Projects/ Missions


The concept of the J.O.Y. Project came from scripture. “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew: 37-39
In a world where being first is glorified, the Lord asks us to put ourselves third. Through continued, hands-on service projects, are hope is to cultivate a spirit of serving among students and staff.

Guatemala Mission Trip, August 2016

Several Parkridge Christian Academy families, alongside members of Parkridge Church, traveled to Guatemala to serve with Orphan's Heart. Families and students spent one week working at a malnutrition center. Tasks included: leading bible studies, packing food bags, caring for infants and toddlers, building/painting projects, ministering to full-time employees.

Hope South Florida

Students and families served alongside volunteers from Hope South Florida to feed over 250 men and women. Thank you to Chick-Fil-A for donating the meals.
